The Core Belief
Prashamsa Foundation operates on a fundamental conviction: unless members of civil society are proactively involved in the process of development, sustainable change will not happen.
This belief — rooted in the principle of Civic Driven Change — is not just a philosophy. It is the engine behind everything we do.
What is Civic Driven Change?
Civic Driven Change (CDC) is the process by which citizens actively participate in shaping the decisions and systems that affect their lives. Rather than waiting for top-down interventions from governments or large institutions, CDC empowers communities to identify their own problems and co-create solutions.
How Prashamsa Foundation Applies CDC
- Community Awareness: We run programs that help communities identify and articulate their own social challenges.
- Participatory Problem-Solving: We facilitate workshops and forums where community members actively participate in designing solutions.
- Capacity Building: We build the skills and confidence of community members to lead change independently.
- Outreach Model: In remote rural areas, we implement interventions directly, gaining grassroots experience and sharing it with partner organizations.
The Ripple Effect
When one person embraces their social responsibility, they inspire others. This ripple effect is the foundation of a golden society. At Prashamsa Foundation, every workshop, every event, and every community program is designed to create this ripple.
Together, we can build a society where "Golden society assures golden life" is not just a tagline — but a lived reality.
